The "Eth-Mi" DVD Library is up!

Hey all... the DVDs have arrived!

Thanks to all your suggestions and sorry to those who did not get what they wanted in this first batch of DVDs, I was on a limited budget and had to buy films based on how requested they were. If there are enough demands for new DVDs I will get together a proposal for an extension of the current budget, so continue to post suggestions in the comments section below :)

King's Clothes Swap

Munby Room
Saturday 1st May 2010 - 12:00 - 16:00

Is your wardrobe bursting to overflowing, yet you've got nothing to wear? Are you dreading the inevitable van hire to get all your stuff home at the end of term?

If so, come along to the great Clothes Swap! Just bring along your unwanted clothes (or drop them off friday in the bar from 6) and rummage like a ferret in heat!

All clothes and trinkets are welcomed but, please, no manky socks or moth-eaten Y fronts. So come along, bring a friend and remember: one man's junk is another man's treasure!

King's Parliamentary Hustings

The 2010 General Election looks set to be the most closely-contested British election in decades.

IMF Protest in King's Hall

On Saturday at 2pm, a group of Cambridge students and residents disrupted the inaugural conference of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) conference in King's College, Cambridge. They unfurled a banner from a balcony within the conference hall, reading "IMF is part of the problem, not the solution".

The President

My job as KCSU President is simple:

I coordinate the exec so that it efficiently represents you and your wishes;

  • I am responsible for day-to-day administration of KCSU;
  • I represent the students' interests when I liaise with College authorities;
  • and I represent KCSU at the university level of CUSU Council.
