There's another co-op in Newnham and the cheapest (and most varied selection) food is to be found in the shops on Mill Road. Lots of cafes (Black Cat, CB1, Jaffa net etc) and interesting shops up there if you want a break from revision and the Cambridge bubble.

ASDA and Big Tesco 15 minute Cycle.

If you don't mind a 15 minute cycle, there is a massive out of town shoppping complex. It has ASDA (first link), Argos, Homebase, B&Q, Sports Direct, TkMaxx etc. There is also a huge TESCO opposite it (second link)
