Money for KCOCK (and the return of table tennis)...
Minutes – Open 07.05.07
Present: Seiriol, Tom, Fiona, Lucy, Christine, T, Eddy, Kat, Arun, Dave H.
Apologies: Andy, Anthony
Reports:
Christine reported that her and Stuart would be submitting a paper to council about internal communication: improving communications from college to students about issues such s asbestos and more events like the Provost seminar.
Arun confirmed that we do have enough money in the reserve for the table tennis table if the motion is passed as it is a long term investment but security should be thought about before buying one as we did have one last year which was lost. He said that the money for KCOCK should really come from the SFC but SFC budgeting can only happen once a year.
Motions:
(i) Danny spoke about his motion to give KCOCK £115 for buoyancy aids (as the old ones have worn out), a waterproof bag and a new set of keys. He confirmed that these items would be locked away.
VOTE: Motion carries
(ii) Tom explained that the table tennis table from last year had disappeared and that the motion was a safety net for in case it could not be found. It was suggested that it could be in the shed in the fellows garden and Tom said he would check.
VOTE: Motion carries
Tom announced that he is unable to go to CUSU Council and that anyone is welcome to go in his place.
