Meet the Team

President

Halloj! I'm Benjamin (Beni), your KCSU President. I'm a second-year HSPSer focusing on Politics and IR. Principally, I manage and represent the entire KCSU on college committees, council and the governing body. If you need something done, I probably know who to ask or where to find the information. My proverbial door is always open to have a chat about key issues in College, help you write a committee/council paper, or anything you want really. I am your key representative to College, and am always working as hard as I can on your behalf, so feel free to reach out at any time, day or night!

Chair

Hi, I'm Philip, a second year Nat Sci and your KCSU Chair. As Chair my role is to run the exec and open meetings, organise elections, and generally look after the exec. I'll be your port of call if there's something you want to change about the KCSU, if you want to run for a position, if you have a problem with any of the current officers or if you don't know who to contact about something. My job really varies with what the KCSU needs so reach out about anything and if I can't help you myself, I'll make sure I find someone who can!

Domus

Hi, I am Rachel, a second year History and Politics student and your Domus officer! I am responsible for representing students wants, needs and concerns in anything related to accommodation and catering. Please email me if there is anything you want to talk about or issues you'd like to raise!

Gender Equalities

Hi, I'm Gloria. I'm a second year medical student and my role on the KCSU is Gender Equalities Officer. My job is to support women and non-binary members of the college community, manage King's Femsoc and maintain access to free sanitary products at multiple locations across the college. If you have any ideas or concerns do not hesitate to contact me!

Disabled Students

I'm Lonnie, a 2nd year engineering student and your DSO officer. I'm responsible for disabled students having access to the resources and support they need, and aren't being made to face even more obstacles. Please email me if you have any concerns, want something in college changed, or need help navigating all the extra bureaucracy/paperwork given to disabled people.

BME

Hey! We are Elizabeth and Imisi, your BME officers. We are responsible for organising events such as BME chai, as well as cultural celebrations such as national food days and BHM formal. It is also our job to make King’s a safe space for all who identify as part of a minority ethnic group. If you ever have any ideas to make King’s a more inclusive place or just need someone to talk to, come find us!

LGBTQ+

Hello, We're Max and Ainoa, the Kings LGBTQ+ Officers! Max is a first-year linguistics student, and Ainoa is a first-year HSPS student. As LGBTQ+ officers, we are committed to running Queer events in college and with other colleges at the undergraduate level, including the LGBTQ+ formal and Pride-related activities. In addition, we oversee queer-related programmes and issues within the college to support our LGBTQ+ community here at King's. If you are a queer student, please do not hesitate to contact us; we are here for you!

Access

Hi everyone! We’re Frances (first year history-and-politics student) and Eleanor (first year historian), your new access officers for 2025-26. Our role is to advocate for equal accessibility to higher education. We organise and volunteer within the Access Bus, Shadowing Schemes, Residentials and Interview Help Desk to provide information and raise the aspirations of outreach and prospective students. We also work with college officers and staff regarding access initiatives, and we hope to work more closely with the current student body to recognise and challenge barriers to accessibility faced during university.

Education

Hi, I'm Iris, a second year Linguistics student. I'm your Education Officer, which means I'm a port of call for any education-related queries. I sit on the Library, E-Lab and Education Committees, and organise support for students on intermission. I'm also working on opening some new study spaces up in the future! Please don't hesitate to get in touch wth any issues or questions you may have surrounding you education here at King's, and I will do by best to help you out!

Charities

We are Mariam (She/her) and Zinzi (She/her), first year HSPS and NatSci students. We are your KCSU Charities Officers! Our role is to ensure that the money the College gives to charity is representative of what the student body feels passionate about. The College gives money to charity on a termly basis and our job is to ensure that you guys are represented in that process. Feel free to come to us with any ideas for charities that are important to you!

Coordinator

Hey, I’m Sophia! I’m a first year Classics student and your KCSU Coordinator. In my role, I write and send out the minutes from the weekly Exec meetings, as well as the fortnightly newsletter, the King’s Affairs. I also manage KCSU Announce, which you can use to send messages to the student body! I’m here to make sure that you’re kept up to date with what the Exec is working on. If you ever have any questions about the minutes or Announce or have something to include in the newsletter, please reach out!

Ents

Hey, we're Alice & Cara, second year theology and classics students. Our role as KCSU ents officers includes planning and organising formals (coming up with themes, decorations, and entertainment) as well as organising weekly college entertainment like karaoke. We also plan Fun Day, which will be happening after exams, so look out for emails regarding that! Feel free to get in contact whenever if you have any suggestions or questions :)

Sports and Societies

International

Hello! We’re Ruben and Muhammad, your International Officers for this year. Our role is to support and represent the international student community at King's. Whether you're new to the UK or just looking to connect with others from around the world, we're here to make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We help organise events throughout the year to celebrate our vibrant international community, and we work with the KCSU and the college to ensure international student voices are heard. If you ever have questions, concerns, or just want a chat, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always happy to help!

Treasurers

Hello! We are Jasmine and Rowan, your joint Treasurers, and we are both first-year bio NatScis. We are responsible for reimbursing societies (sorry if we are late!), setting the budgets in Michaelmas and we attend finance and investment committee. We are also your way to access college funds, so get in touch if you are planning an event (theatre, sports etc) and want to try and get some college money (no promises)! Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about reimbursements or want to discuss your budget for next year. Also please let us know if there are any concerns you would like us to raise at either committee we attend - particularly where college spends their money, their investments, donations etc.

Greens

Hi, I’m Alex, a second year Engineer, your Greens and Environment Officer. I engage and inform students about sustainability in college by running and promoting events where students can learn and get involved. Whilst giving away free plants each Green Week, I gather students’ ideas and suggestions, helping college to deliver some of these such as food waste bins. I sit on the Sustainability Committee and the Gardens Committee, do get in touch if you have any concerns, thoughts or questions!

Computer

Hello, I'm Lucas, I'm a first year Computer Science student. As your Computer Officer, I'm responsible for the maintenance of the KCSU website (this one!), KiFoMaSy, and other online platforms that KCSU runs. I attend college IT committee meetings to advocate for any IT-related issues that you may have. Do not hesitate to contact me if you face any technical issues; I'll do my best to help you out!
